Here is the classic Scott Joplin piece which was commissioned as a Xylophone duet
by The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines and was first performed by them in The
Royal Albert Hall in March 2017.
It’s designed as a fun piece and gives the soloists an opportunity to interact with the audience. However, like all “rehearsed” humour, the soloist parts are quite deliberately demanding and this should be taken into consideration when adding it to your repertoire.
