Fireworks

This strident piece was, as the title suggests, used as the accompanying music for the
fireworks display at The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2015.
Based on the opening bars of Brahms’ first symphony, it evokes passion and uncertainty in the beginning and then morphs in to an ethereal mood in keeping with the theme of the 2015 Tattoo, East Meets West before returning to the “Sturm und Drang” ideology. It also provides the opportunity to introduce the bagpipes if you wish.
