The catalogue is designed to be easily understandable and accessible.
By selecting a title, you will be presented with a short discography of the work that will outline its origins and the reason for its existence.
For example, it may have been a commission or perhaps just an idea that needed developing, whatever the reason, the accompanying notes should be useful to conductors when collating programme notes or simply explaining the titles’ origins to an audience.
Once you have selected a piece, you can access the drop down menu that is divided into three parts:
a). An MP3 recording of the entire piece produced either by a live Band/Orchestra or computer-generated through Sibelius Software
b). A PDF of the conductor score
c). All the individual parts as they would appear to your players. Although these are contained in one file, they will separate into individual pages during the printing process.
I believe that by providing this information, you will be able to make an informed decision as to whether or not the piece is suitable / playable by your organisation without having to pay for something that is not within your reach.
Once you’ve made your selection, you can either go straight to “Purchase this item” or continue shopping by placing titles in The Basket
I have taken the step of providing “concert pitch” ”rather than “transposed” scores for each project, mainly for reasons of security. However, if you would rather have a transposed score, please email me and I shall send a copy to you.
I hope you find what you are looking for and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you experience any problems or indeed, if you have any suggestions that might make the site more “user friendly”. Thank you.
